HELP US OUT WITH YOUR TIME

This directory is compiled by hand and kept going by volunteers, which means it is only ever as good as what gets sent in. Four ways to make it better are listed below:

01 // TAKES A MINUTE
POST AN EVENT ↗
Something on that belongs here? Paste the link and we read the details off the page. Exhibitions, screenings, gigs, workshops, open studios, talks.
02 // TAKES A MINUTE
ADD AN ARTIST ↗
Yourself, or anyone making media art in London. Paste their site and check what comes back. Editorial entries are marked unverified until the artist claims them.
03 // TAKES A THOUGHT
TELL SOMEONE
A directory nobody knows about is a private list. Send it to one person who would use it — a curator, a course, a mailing list, a group chat.
04 // TAKES A ROOM
ARRANGE A MEETUP
The scene is better in person. Put one on, then post it here as an event so people can find it.

■ KNOW AN OPEN CALL? — post a commission, residency or deadline ↗

TELLING PEOPLE

Nothing here is promoted. It travels by word of mouth or not at all, so if you find it useful, pass it on:

■ THE LINK: megasuperweb.com
Worth a mention to: art-school tutors and course leads, gallery and studio newsletters, artist WhatsApp and Discord groups, listings editors, anyone who keeps asking “what’s on this week?”

ARRANGING A MEETUP

■ A ROUGH RECIPE: Pick a night and a room that costs nothing — a pub back room, a studio, a project space between shows. Keep it small and repeatable rather than ambitious and once. Three or four people showing work for ten minutes each beats a panel. Then post it here so it is findable, and post the next one too.

SPOTTED SOMETHING WRONG?

Dates move, venues close, profiles go stale. Every artist page carries a way to claim and correct it, and every event links back to its source. If something is wrong, the fix is usually a fresh submission — or tell the admin and it gets edited.
